The essay places the procurement in the wider political context, and draws primarily on OIA documents I obtained, the recording of the December education select committee (2024/12/04) which I help Jan Tinetti and Lawrence Xu-Nan prepare for, and Parliamentary Written Questions (all linked below). In it, I argue the procurement, and its lead-up, is a concrete example of how structures of the state are being diminished and the interests of commercial entities privileged. What should be a public concern, developed and working for the interests of all, is being turned over to private interests.
Take care,
Bevan.
